Assa Abloy signs agreement to acquire Arran Isle

by Andy Clutton

Assa Abloy has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Arran Isle, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of door and window hardware in the UK and Ireland.  Arran Isle has a portfolio of products primarily trading under the brands of Carlisle Brass and Mila.

“Arran Isle Group and its respective businesses bring well-known brands and an operational model that delivers consistent, great service” says Harry Warrender, Market Region Manager and Head of Assa Abloy Opening Solutions UK and Ireland. “Their portfolio delivers on our strategy to extend our product and service offering for the UK and Ireland and I look forward to welcoming the Arran Isle team to our organisation.”

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions and is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2021.
