VIPRE UK and Ireland has announced the release of its Security Awareness Training (SAT) Programme, an online learning solution that builds practical, cost-effective security awareness for an organisation’s employees.
As businesses have had to transform to remote working, and with an increase of Covid-19 related cyber-attacks, it’s more important than ever for companies to ensure they not only have the correct security measures in place, but also educate their employees to be able to spot cyber attacks and be more security conscious as part of the overall IT security strategy and protection.
Now is the time for organisations to consider putting security awareness training and awareness programmes in place, as research shows security-related risks are reduced by 70% when businesses invest in these solutions. The SAT Programme is far from a typical corporate security programme, and has instead been made to be both informative and highly engaging so that the information is retained and practised by employees long-term.
The Security Awareness Training is available at three levels;
- SAT Essentials is an out-of-the-box learning programme that allows resource-conscious organisations to deliver quarterly, highly effective security awareness training with minimum admin effort.
- SAT Advanced is a more comprehensive package of security awareness courseware combined with flexible access to phishing, vishing and smishing simulations. Within this package is a pre-set schedule consisting of bi-monthly courses, reinforcing ‘micro-learning’ courses and monthly phishing tests delivered to all users.
- SAT Enterprise is the complete learning management system that delivers a full course library with the ability to customise courseware and simulations to the business needs.
In addition, VIPRE channel partners have access to Security Awareness Training Manager, a management portal enabling the delivery and management of pre-packaged courses or customer solutions from a full library of courseware that best fits the clients’ needs.
Andrea Babbs, UK General Manager, VIPRE Security, comments: “This addition to our portfolio will deliver even more security initiatives to protect employees, their actions and sensitive business information from costly attacks and accidental data breaches. The service will be able to provide more training sessions, high-quality training material and ease of administration.”
