Ward Security has appointed Paul Harvey to its Executive Board in the role of chief commercial officer, in turn reflecting the company’s plans to maintain and continue its trend of upward growth. The national security company was named as one of the fastest-growing businesses in Kent in the 2019 MegaGrowth 50 listing and, as a business, has enjoyed exponential growth and client development nationally.

Harvey has over 25 years’ experience in senior leadership roles in publicly listed, private equity and privately-owned businesses. Well respected within the security sector, he brings with him a proven track record of high performance and sustained business growth.

Kevin Ward, managing director and co-founder of Ward Security, said: “Over the last few years we’ve succeeded in growing our business both consistently and strategically by ensuring our ambitious growth plans reflect our team’s ability to implement them. We’re extremely proud to have built a very strong managerial and operational team and we will continue to invest in them while also recruiting externally to ensure we have the right people for each role. It’s an exciting time for anyone joining our business and I’m sure Paul will complement our existing team very well.”

Commenting on his new appointment, Harvey informed Risk Xtra: “I’m delighted to be joining Ward Security at an exciting stage of its development and look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues. I’m confident that this opportunity will allow me to harness my experience, bring an additional perspective to strategic decision-making and support strong performance and growth for the company.”
