Ultimate Security wins prestigious Broadgate Estates guarding contract valued at £20 million

Broadgate Estates has appointed Ultimate Security Services as its new partner for security guarding services at two of the property specialist’s key developments, namely More London and London Bridge City. The three-year deal is worth £4 million per annum. The contract, which has a two-year extension, will see Ultimate Security Services consolidate security guarding operations at the two sites, also encompassing the Mayor of London’s building.

Both facilities are currently serviced by two different contractors. That being so, a key driver in the tender specification was to consolidate security guarding operations and appoint a service partner with the capability to create and develop a strong one-team ethos, while also delivering “unrivalled and innovative” risk management expertise.

Mark Chapman, estates director at Broadgate Estates, said: “Ultimate Security Services’ submission demonstrated a complete understanding of the objective set out in the specification. The business has a proven track record in consolidating contracts with multiple service providers while aligning organisational, cultural and business objectives, which is exactly why it was selected for this prestigious contract.”

Steve Hall, chief executive at Ultimate Security Services, stated: “We’re delighted to have been appointed by Broadgate Estates following a comprehensive procurement process. We’ve been able to approach the contract with some innovative ideas to embed a culture of service excellence, while being adaptable to our client’s future needs.”

Paul Harvey, commercial director at Ultimate Security Services, added: “Clients and supply partners are increasingly driven to ensure every interaction is a positive experience. Optimising all of this requires strong management and team leaders, so our model focuses on consistently delivering Broadgate Estates’ vision and values. We strongly believe in our capability to deliver engaged, trained and Security Industry Authority-licensed front line personnel who understand their pivotal role and the important part they play in the customer experience journey.”

With a turnover of £65 million, Ultimate Security Services is a leading security, Front of House and corporate reception business services provider. Founded in 1999 and now boasting a staff of over 2,100, the company is driven to be recognised as the supplier of choice for landmark and high risk locations in London.

Ultimate Security Services’ clients include Land Securities, CBRE, The Shard, Savills and BNP Paribas.
