Entry to the 2019 UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) will close at midnight on Monday 15 October 2018. With 16 categories to choose from, the awards provide the opportunity to acknowledge people, products and services from right across the security spectrum who have made a significant contribution to the industry.

Finalists will be announced at the International Security Expo 2018 and the winners will be revealed on Thursday 28 February 2019 at an evening awards dinner and ceremony to be held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in central London.

Commenting on the judging process, OSPAs founder Professor Martin Gill CSyP FSyI explained: ‘The judging process is rigorous and robust and only those reaching a high score threshold will be chosen as finalists. The esteemed panel of Judges have been nominated by the many leading security associations and all sign up to an ethics policy, declaring any conflict of interest. If a category isn’t competitively supported, an award will not be made. This ensures that only the very best candidates are selected.’
