Trystan Bevan: the new UK security sales manager for Eaton’s security business division

To build on the continuing success of its popular Menvier and Scantronic ranges, Eaton’s security business has announced the promotion of Trystan Bevan to the position of UK security sales manager.

Bevan’s new role sees him spearheading the company’s efforts to drive demand for Eaton’s solutions among installers and distributors across the whole of the UK.

He’s also responsible for contributing to the company’s overall business development strategy and will help to implement strategic plans and objectives for the sales team.

Armed with over 14 years’ experience in the security sector and a wealth of knowledge gained from positions in installation, sales and account management, Bevan’s career has included working for a number of well-known regional and national companies.

He joined Eaton’s security business in 2009 from ADT Fire & Security and, since then, has enjoyed a number of key roles within the company including South West UK area account manager, distribution account manager and, more recently, area team leader – UK South.

Bevan’s extensive knowledge and expertise will be a valuable asset in his new position, which he will use to increase the number of high profile installations that benefit from using products from Eaton’s security business.

Diverse portfolio of products

Commenting on his new role, Bevan stated: “I’m convinced that no other company in the security industry has such a diverse and respected portfolio of reliable and well-designed products. I look forward to helping to deliver an unrivalled customer experience for our distribution partners and installers, support the sales team and play an active part in taking the company to the next level of success.”

Neil Thompson, UK country sales manager at Eaton, added: “In the six years that he has been with the company, Trystan has proven to be someone with a formidable technical knowledge of all our solutions. His experience as an installer means that he speaks their language and he instinctively knows what they need from a product. I’d like to congratulate him on reaching this milestone in his career and I’m confident that our UK sales operation will benefit enormously from having him at the helm.”

Eaton’s electrical business boasts expertise in power distribution and circuit protection, back-up power protection, control and automation, lighting and security, structural solutions and wiring devices, solutions for harsh and hazardous environments and engineering services.

Eaton is a power management company with 2013 sales of $22.0 billion. The business provides energy-efficient solutions that help its end customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more efficiently, safely and sustainably.
