System Sensor expands aspiration business

Tim Checketts has been recruited by System Sensor Europe to fill the newly created position of EMEA Sales Manager, Speciality Products. His primary focus is to drive new channel partnerships for the newly launched aspiration sensing range and other speciality products, as well as supporting existing fire systems partners. Checketts has extensive experience in M&E consultancy, having worked for companies such as NG Bailey, where early stage involvement in new build and retrofit projects is essential in driving understanding of solutions. A key target for growth in aspiration technologies is the data centre/IT telecoms market. Checketts will be responsible for building relationships with physical infrastructure suppliers, consultants and end users. Checketts has previously worked in marketing and sales roles in high-tech companies such as Tunstall, NG Bailey and Cylon UK.

He has organised and chaired conference programmes for both IFSEC International and ASIS International and has been published in the national media. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk UK at Pro-Activ Publications in July 2014 and as Editor of The Paper (Pro-Activ Publications' dedicated business newspaper for security professionals) in September 2015. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk Xtra at Pro-Activ Publications in May 2018.
