Speaker line-up confirmed for 2019 CSL Industry Forum in central London

CSL has just announced the speaker line-up for its annual Industry Forum (formally known as the Insurers’ Forum), which takes place at the central London headquarters of IFSEC International’s organiser Informa in Blackfriars on Wednesday 13 November. The Industry Forum has been designed to provide delegates with a series of valuable updates on matters of key interest and relevance for practising security professionals.

Topics that will be covered include industry trends and challenges, industry collaboration, theft, PD6669, the ECHO initiative, BT’s All-IP scheme and the Internet of Things.

The event is aimed at end users, insurers and brokers, security consultants, representatives from Alarm Receiving Centres, security installers and delegates from associations.

The speakers are Simon Banks (Group managing director of CSL and current chairman of the British Security Industry Association), Mike Reddington (CEO at the British Security Industry Association), Jenny Cooper (director of private clients and insurance liaison at Insafe International), David Mudd (global digital and connected product certification director at the British Standards Institution), Chris Hanks (chairman of the National Security Inspectorate) and Paul Rumble (national sales manager at Insafe International).

The Forum will open with refreshments at 10.00 am followed by the presentations, a Q&A session and then a free
buffet luncheon.

He has organised and chaired conference programmes for both IFSEC International and ASIS International and has been published in the national media. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk UK at Pro-Activ Publications in July 2014 and as Editor of The Paper (Pro-Activ Publications' dedicated business newspaper for security professionals) in September 2015. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk Xtra at Pro-Activ Publications in May 2018.
