Security and justice minister to open ASIS Europe 2014

ASIS International, the association for security professionals, has announced that Ivo Willem Opstelten, Security and Justice Minister of The Netherlands will give a keynote presentation during the opening plenary on 2 April at ASIS Europe 2014. Now on its 13th edition, ASIS 13th European Security Conference & Exhibition will take place in The Hague, Netherlands on 1-3 April 2014. Godfried Hendriks, CPP, Member of the Board of Directors of ASIS International says,” ASIS International is honoured by the participation of Minister Opstelten in ASIS Europe 2014. Such high-level participation can be seen as recognition of the leading role that ASIS has in developing the security profession in the Netherlands and Europe. ASIS believes that a continuous dialogue between practitioners and the public sector is critical to making the world a more secure place.”

Brian was appointed Editor of Risk UK at Pro-Activ Publications in July 2014 and as Editor of The Paper (Pro-Activ Publications' dedicated business newspaper for security professionals) in September 2015. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk Xtra at Pro-Activ Publications in May 2018.
