Didier Faure: the new CFO at CSL

CSL, the provider of secure connectivity for M2M/Internet of Things devices, has announced the appointment of Didier Faure in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Faure joins CSL from AlixPartners LLP, a private equity portfolio restructuring consultancy where he served as CFO for the EMEA region.

Faure was a Board director at AlixPartners LLP focused on corporate governance across the EMEA and also a member of the Operations Committee for the EMEA Group as well as local entities in the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Switzerland.

He had an active involvement in operational and commercial issues, tender pricing, profitability and growth, with responsibility for the creation and supervision of an EMEA Accounting Hub and the FP&A team.

In February 2015, Faure oversaw the management process for the acquisition – and subsequent integration – of ZolfoCooper UK LLP.

Prior to working at AlixPartners LLP, Faure was EMEA CFO at WPP-owned Grey Healthcare Group, a 250 employee-strong communications agency resident in the healthcare sector. From May 1997 through until July 1999 (at which point he joined WPP), Faure was senior finance and operations manager for the EMEA at DELL. He has also held financial controller roles at Anheuser-Busch, TEMIC UK and XPO Logistics Europe.

Speaking about Faure’s appointment, Ed Heale (CEO at CSL) commented: “In addition to expertise in the finance function, Didier brings a wealth of experience in business consulting and strategy which will be invaluable to CSL as we look to support our customers even more effectively.”

Formerly branded CSL DualCom, CSL invented simple and reliable DualCom alarm signalling units to facilitate the delivery of alarms and data from premises to monitoring centres. The company is now the trusted choice to provide critical connectivity for over 500,000 M2M devices throughout Europe.

The most recent innovations from CSL include CSL Connected (which offers Alarm Receiving Centre monitoring plus an end user App), CSL Routers for the rapid deployment of CCTV and DualCom MiniAir – dubbed “the smallest communicator” on the market.

The latest brand to join the CSL Group is Emizon.
