Risk management specialist Anvil Group appoints duo of strategic directors

Anvil Group, the travel and operational risk management company, has announced the appointment of Grant Miller and Kevin Andrews in key strategic roles. Miller joins the business as director of risk mitigation and intelligence, while Andrews becomes director of strategic operations.

Heading up Anvil Group’s Western Hemisphere intelligence analysis operation, Miller is now responsible for overseeing the collection, analysis and dissemination of intelligence to support Anvil Group’s clients with their risk mitigation strategies. He has over 13 years of intelligence experience, including service with the CIA, and has also directed intelligence analysis at the Hess Corporation and the Citi Group. At the Hess Corporation, Miller developed the organisation’s intelligence analysis and threat assessment functions in support of global operations.

Andrews takes on responsibility for the strategic management, control and operations of the Anvil Group’s security support services throughout the world for US and Canadian clients. He has over 20 years of security experience, serving as global security director for General Electric and as head of corporate security for the EQT Corporation, the largest natural gas producer in the US.

Previously, Andrews served in the US Army’s Elite Delta Force Counter-Terrorism Unit.

Miller and Andrews are both based out of the Anvil Group’s Tampa Bay office in the US.
