Pelco introduces latest update to VideoXpert VMS for security professionals

Pelco’s latest update to its popular VideoXpert solution for end users continues to build on features the manufacturer claims security and surveillance system administrators and operators care most about. These include mission-critical system availability and Government-grade validated cyber security enhancements.

The VideoXpert VMS uses an architecture that’s specifically designed for some of the most demanding performance and growth-oriented businesses, enterprises and organisations where interoperability and ease of use are the expected standard.

Pelco states that the VideoXpert Pro and VideoXpert Enterprise editions are ideal for end user deployments involving anything from 20 to 20,000 cameras.

VideoXpert v3.1 enhances customers’ surveillance experience and makes deployment easier. Features include smoother and higher frame rates for the VxPortal web clients, easier map importation, door control, customisation of Optera’s Panomersive views and support from Pelco’s GFC Pro 4K camera.

Enhancements include dynamic cluster (server) expansion to the active system with zero-downtime and user and role management through LDAP.

The latest VMS uses FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption.
