New Operations Director for Ward Security

Ward Security has announced the appointment of Liz Buys in the role of Operations Director. Liz has 13 years’ experience working in the facilities management industry in both service delivery and holding various senior facilities management roles. She is member of the British Industry of Facilities Management and most recently worked at MJ Mapp where she worked for seven years in a variety of key areas including Head of Operations at Covent Garden before leaving to work as a specialist independent consultant on operational areas. Commenting on her new position Liz Buys said” I was a client of Ward Security for many years and always admired the ethos of the company, as well as being impressed by their service delivery.” David Ward, Managing Director of Ward Security said” Liz is a great addition to the team. Having been client side as well as a consultant previously she understands the issues and requirements inside out. She has first-class operational knowledge which we will be putting to good use.”

He has organised and chaired conference programmes for both IFSEC International and ASIS International and has been published in the national media. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk UK at Pro-Activ Publications in July 2014 and as Editor of The Paper (Pro-Activ Publications' dedicated business newspaper for security professionals) in September 2015. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk Xtra at Pro-Activ Publications in May 2018.
