Mitie promotes Peter Egan

Mitie has appointed Peter Egan as a sector specialist to head up the retail and logistics sector for its total security management business. Peter joined Mitie’s total security management business seven years ago as the account director at a high street retailer. His knowledge and experience in the industry have been instrumental in delivering service-led security for several national retail and logistics clients. In his role as sector director, Peter has a national remit and is tasked with creating sustainable methods for technology risk mitigation. Peter will also work with a specialist management team which has full operational management of the retail and logistics portfolio from service delivery through to engagement with the wider stakeholder community. Peter comments,” My focus will be on developing our offering for clients from retail, leisure and logistics environments to highlight the benefits of industry leading people, technology and risk profiling within their sectors.”

He has organised and chaired conference programmes for both IFSEC International and ASIS International and has been published in the national media. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk UK at Pro-Activ Publications in July 2014 and as Editor of The Paper (Pro-Activ Publications' dedicated business newspaper for security professionals) in September 2015. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk Xtra at Pro-Activ Publications in May 2018.
