Mitie has been appointed preferred bidder for a five-year integrated FM contract with Deloitte

Mitie has been appointed preferred bidder for a five-year integrated facilities management (FM) contract with leading professional services firm Deloitte. The new contract has a total base value in excess of £40 million over the five-year period of the deal.

Mitie will deliver a complete range of FM services encompassing security, cleaning, landscaping, pest control, waste management, Health and Safety management, energy consultancy and Help Desk services across Deloitte’s entire UK estate comprising of 34 offices and more than 1.3 million sq ft of office space.

Commenting on the deal, Phil Holland – managing director of Mitie’s Integrated Facilities Management business – told Risk UK: “We’re delighted to have been appointed preferred bidder by Deloitte. We will be committed to developing a bespoke FM strategy and offering expert advice and recommendations on service delivery.”

Mark Raveneau, property and corporate services director at Deloitte, responded: “Deloitte believes it’s of paramount importance that our office estate is managed to the highest level ensuring high productivity and service. We look forward to forming a collaborative partnership with Mitie.”
