Tavcom, the security management and systems training provider, is offering all International Professional Security Association (IPSA) members a 15% discount on its internationally accredited and recognised BTEC classroom, workshop and online training courses.

IPSA is a membership body formed over 50 years ago to ensure professionalism in the management of security operations. It operates within the framework of fourteen regions which includes many overseas countries, offering membership to those employed in the industrial or commercial security sphere as well as those companies who supply services or materials used in connection with industrial or commercial security.

“I know that IPSA members are always looking to enhance their professional development and take on board career enhancing knowledge and qualifications,” explained Justin Bentley, CEO of IPSA. “I’m delighted that we’ve been able to negotiate this substantial discount on Tavcom accredited courses and I would encourage all of our members to take a close look at the Tavcom Prospectus which may be viewed online at www.tavcom.com.”

Part of the Linx International Group, Tavcom offers courses to meet the training requirements of security professionals at all levels, from foundation courses for those with little or no previous experience through to highly advanced programmes for security managers and company executives.

In total, Tavcom currently offers over 70 regularly scheduled training courses ranging from one-day seminars to five-day, fully residential programmes.

Tavcom’s headquarters in Bishops Waltham, Hampshire provides ‘hands-on’ training facilities which offer immediate opportunities to put theory into practice. It’s all about a Tavcom tradition of blended learning that has refined the knowledge and skills of thousands of delegates for over 20 years.

The Tavcom online e-learning courses are intended to offer a practical alternative to traditional classroom style courses and will allow IPSA members to acquire new skill sets.
