Incentive FM Group has launched a new specialist company which will operate as a subsidiary of Incentive Tec, the business’ building services operation. Incentive Tec – Fire & Security Systems Ltd will deliver cost-effective and bespoke design, installation and maintenance of life safety systems, focusing on compliance and regulatory requirements for both existing and new end user customers.
Solutions will include fire and intruder detection and alarms, emergency lighting, access control, CCTV and fire safety sprinklers. Those solutions will be available as standalone options or as part of a broader M&E service offer. The division will also work closely with the company’s security guarding business, namely Incentive Lynx Security, and its client base.
The fire and security systems staff joined the Incentive FM Group along with the company’s acquisition of Weston Electrical Services (WES Group) last year, which significantly increased the geographical reach, scale and range of its Incentive Tec business, bringing the total number of multi-skilled mobile engineers the Incentive FM Group now employs to over 140 nationwide, with a further 80 site-based technicians also on the books.
Supporting the relaunch of this business, Incentive Tec will provide training and development opportunities for its existing service teams while also looking to strengthen its workforce throughout a number of regions.

We were delighted that the Western Electrical Services Group acquisition came with a small business under the leadership of Linda Rogers and Richard Parkinson that was already engaged in this very area. That has allowed us to re-brand, invest in and expand the service around the country.”

St Nicholas Shopping Centre contract win
In December, Incentive FM Group was awarded the contract to provide a range of services at St Nicholas Shopping Centre in Sutton. The St Nicholas Centre is a contemporary Shopping Centre in the heart of Sutton, Surrey and boasts a large range of High Street shops and cafes across three floors in addition to a cinema.
Under the terms of the contract, Incentive FM Group will provide security, reception and cleaning services at the 400,000 sq ft location. Around 27 employees have transferred under TUPE to service the Terms and Conditions of the contract and will now undergo additional training.
The two-year agreement is the latest addition to Montagu Evans’ growing retail portfolio. Incentive FM Group has worked with Montagu Evans for over four years now and currently provides a total FM solution at the Friars Square Shopping Centre in Aylesbury.
