IFSEC and FIREX International introduce Protecting Logistics Pavilion at IMHX 2019

IFSEC and FIREX International are set to bring the security and fire safety industries together with leading logistics decision-makers and key influencers through the brand new Protecting Logistics Pavilion at IMHX. Taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 24-27 September, IMHX is a “world-leading event” directly focused on the logistics sector. It attracts over 16,000 visitors from major customers including Tesco, DHL, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Jaguar Land Rover, WM Morrisons, Specsavers, Babcock and Ocado.

With the development and construction of warehouses, storage, distribution and handling centres growing by 30% in the UK in 2018, the logistics industry is a critical national asset. Vital supplies, from food and clothing to medicine and technology, rely on a complex logistics infrastructure – an infrastructure that needs robust security and fire safety solutions to remain operational.

This is where the Protecting Logistics Pavilion comes in, demonstrating where IFSEC and FIREX International have a direct alignment with this key vertical sector. It offers a prime opportunity for the manufacturers of video surveillance, facial recognition, access control, integrated solutions, intruder detection, perimeter protection, fire alarms and detection, suppression systems, portable extinguishing and fire stopping to meet with their logistics sector customers at their own exclusive event.

“This is a really rewarding chance for security and fire safety manufacturers to influence the logistics sector at the source,” commented Gerry Dunphy, strategy director for IFSEC and FIREX International. “We’re making it easier than ever for businesses to participate and meet seriously influential new customers.”

The Protecting Logistics Pavilion introduces the security and fire protection sectors into IMHX through an open and engaging platform. It’s an area where visitors can meet and discuss their security and fire challenges with experts from the leading manufacturers of asset protection technologies.

The Protecting Logistics Pavilion will facilitate off-stand meetings and discussions with technology partners to help in addressing the 21st Century challenges faced by such a critical national asset.
