Finalists announced for 2020 UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards

The 2020 finalists for the UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) have been announced by the event organisers. Now in their fourth year, the UK OSPAs serve to acknowledge the creditable and infinite contributions that companies, initiatives, teams and individuals make to the security industry and wider community. The awards recognise exceptional performance in different categories.

Founder of the OSPAs, Professor Martin Gill CSyP FSyI, commented: “The standard of entries this year has once again been extremely high, providing some real challenges for our experienced set of Judges, who all marked independently to a set of ethical guidelines. All those who are finalists have reached a specific score threshold and those with low scores or who were ranked lower than tenth equal were eliminated. This ensures that our finalists represent the very best in the industry.”

The finalists will now go forward to the next phase of the competition, with the overall winners being announced at the OSPAs Ceremony which takes place on Wednesday 26 February at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

The 2020 UK OSPAs are being sponsored by Innovise, the specialist in workforce management software for the security business sector. Gill added: “Once again, we’re delighted to be working with Innovise as our headline sponsor. The company has shown great interest and support for the OSPAs and what they stand for.”
