CTSP to host Integrated Security Systems Workshop Powered by Tavcom at SiX

The Register of Certified Technical Security Professionals (CTSP) will celebrate its second anniversary when it hosts the CTSP Workshop Powered by Tavcom Training (part of the Linx International Group and operator of the Register) at the upcoming SiX event organised by Pro-Activ Publications, which takes place on 5 and 6 November 2019 at Event City in Manchester.

SiX acknowledges that new and emerging technologies have allowed system integrators and security installers to adopt a range of new working practices, and will specifically focus on maximising the impact of these latest innovations in today’s solutions.

The CTSP Workshop will itself provide visitors with the opportunity to be hands-on with the latest integrated security systems.

CTSP Registrar Kevin Matthew commented: “The CTSP Register is celebrating its second anniversary and there’s no better place to be than SiX among the security installers and integrators whom we serve and support.”

In addition to The Paper, Pro-Activ Publications is publisher of the popular security journals Risk Xtra, Benchmark and PSI. PSI’s Editor Andy Clutton stated: “When it came to seeking partners for the inaugural SiX event, we determined to look at those organisations that share our goal of raising the professional standard of the industry. The CTSP Register is an initiative that PSI has followed keenly and supported since its inception. We’re very pleased to have CTSP experts delivering a technology workshop at SiX. It’s sure to be a show highlight.”

The CTSP Register was formed in 2017 as a means of recognising the competency of technical security professionals fulfilling roles in the security and fire systems sectors. These professionals include engineers/technicians (installation, maintenance and commissioning), system designers, auditors and consultants. It allows consumers, employers and contractors to search the register to validate professional competence.

Today, security practitioners working in the UK and globally are able to use the CTSP post-nominal and are represented on the public online Register.
