Securiclad has strengthened its business development team with a new appointment. Claire Sales will be responsible for supporting the North Tyneside-based company’s growth plans, which include increasing its market share in the datacentre, utilities, healthcare and financial sectors. Securiclad’s modular system offers a security solution to Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) 1175 Security Rating (SR) 5, which means that it is designed and manufactured to withstand determined attempts at forced entry using the kind of high-powered cutting tools employed by fire and rescue personnel. It is also approved for Government use by the CPNI. Prior to joining Securiclad, Claire worked for 14 years in the utilities and mechanical sectors, where she specialised in bid management, project management and client liaison. Before taking up her new role, she held the position of sales engineer for BEL Valves. Commenting on her appointment, Claire says:” With the threat of terrorism still high on the agenda and the danger faced by organisations from acts such as burglary, sabotage and the theft of sensitive data, there is an increasing demand for our system.” Mike McColl, managing director of Securiclad, adds:” Claire joins us with a wealth of client-facing experience and has a real passion for the security sector. It’s fantastic to have her on-board as we move forward.”
