CIS Security announced as finalist in five categories for 2016 Security & Fire Excellence Awards

Having enjoyed a successful year with recognition from the BIFM, as well as a host of individual awards and high profile business wins, London-based CIS Security is now hopeful of scooping further accolades at the UBM EMEA-organised 2016 Security & Fire Excellence Awards, dubbed by many as the ‘Oscars’ of the security business sector.

To its great credit, CIS Security has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Security Guarding Company of the Year, ACS Champion of the Year, Customer Care Initiative of the Year, Security Manager of the Year and Inspiration in HR categories.

Earlier this year, CIS Security announced that the business had received an all-time high Approved Contractor Scheme audit score for the company of 170. The organisation is named in the list of ACS Star Performers, as well as featuring in Infologue’s popular ‘Top 30 Security Companies in the UK’ rankings.

Last month, CIS Security enjoyed the limelight of the BIFM Awards as a finalist in the Impact on Customer Experience category, the only security specialist to feature at what is the headline awards event for the FM sector.

Neill Catton, managing director at CIS Security, explained to Risk UK: “So much of what we do requires thorough planning and preliminary work for long periods as well as courage in following through on decisions which may take us down roads perhaps less travelled. To be a shortlisted finalist in five categories at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards is an impressive sweep of recognition, and I’m very pleased to see outcomes like this. I’m also proud to witness both vision and proactivity from all departments within our business, from those who also want to be part of the movement to lead the development of our sector and who are prepared to go above and beyond the Call of Duty, confident in the knowledge that the rewards will come. I would like to wish everyone the best of luck for the event.”

The 2016 Security & Fire Excellence Awards Ceremony takes place in central London on the evening of Wednesday 23 November.
