BSIA recommends IFSEC International’s 2016 Meetings Service Programme for exhibitors and buyers

A major opportunity for all exhibiting British Security Industry Association (BSIA) members and end user buyers at this year’s IFSEC International (which runs at London’s ExCeL from 21-23 June) is the IFSEC International Meetings Service Programme – an exclusive opportunity for exhibitors to host pre-arranged meetings with buyers on their stands or in the BSIA Business Lounge. 

The service is completely free of charge for all BSIA members exhibiting at IFSEC and provides tangible return on investment. Hosted by Sector Marketing, the service is an effective way for companies to host managed meetings and support customer strategies at the show. Exhibitors can have arranged meetings either on their stands or in the BSIA Business Lounge for added privacy.

The Meetings Service is free to use for all registered IFSEC visitors who simply use their IFSEC-registered e-mail within the Meetings Service section of the floorplan. Once registered with the programme, the visitor is guided through the Meetings Service portal whereby they can input their availability and areas of interest and select the companies they wish to meet. Everything else is then taken care of on their behalf and the meetings are arranged.

IFSEC International’s organiser UBM is placing a “formidable emphasis” on the Meetings Service at this year’s event with ‘Book A Meeting’ options on the exhibitor lists. Visitors can arrange their meetings as they’re browsing the exhibitor list and planning their visits.

The BSIA recommends that members make full use of the IFSEC International Meetings Service Programme this year as it adds “excellent additional value” and helps drive the right customers to specific stands.

Gerry Dunphy, event director for IFSEC and FIREX International, explained: ‘’The Meetings Service has been a firm favourite with exhibitors for a few years now. This year, we’re eager to make sure the programme is widespread and more heavily used. It’s free of charge to all exhibiting BSIA members and can play a major role in realising the full potential the show has to offer.”
