Brooknight Security appoints Simon Chapman in commercial director’s role

Brooknight Security – the independently owned and operated business providing a range of security services to corporate and retail sector customers alike – has announced the appointment of Simon Chapman to the role of commercial director. Chapman joins the business with immediate effect and is now set to play a pivotal role in the next phase of Brooknight Security’s extensive development plans.

Chapman brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role gained over many years of operation within both the security guarding sector and in security-related technology. Most recently, Chapman served as managing director of Lodge Service, the UK’s longest-established family-owned security specialist and a specialist in retail sector security and risk management solutions.

Chris Fieldhouse, managing director at Brooknight Security, stated: “Simon’s appointment is crucial in the next phase of our expansion plans. He’s well respected in the industry and we are extremely happy that he has joined us. We have some exciting things happening within our business and Simon will play a key part in delivering our plans.”

Brooknight Security’s primary focus is in the retail sector with its main services including security guarding, store detectives, keyholding, alarm response and CCTV monitoring.

He has organised and chaired conference programmes for both IFSEC International and ASIS International and has been published in the national media. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk UK at Pro-Activ Publications in July 2014 and as Editor of The Paper (Pro-Activ Publications' dedicated business newspaper for security professionals) in September 2015. Brian was appointed Editor of Risk Xtra at Pro-Activ Publications in May 2018.
