Axis Security wins Security Guarding Company of the Year at 2018 IFSEC Security and Fire Excellence Awards

Axis Security has been named Security Guarding Company of the Year at this year’s IFSEC Security and Fire Excellence Awards: the fourth time the business has achieved this industry accolade at the UBM-organised ceremony.

The company continues to experience great success with its turnover rising from £2.4 million to circa £80 million in just ten years, and an Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) score that has increased year-on-year, currently standing at 174 out of a possible 175 (placing the business firmly in the Top 1% of ACS companies in the UK).

This latest award recognises the business’ commitment to furthering industry standards through its partnerships and high-level engagement with the police and the Security Industry Authority, as well as its recent membership of the Institute of Customer Service. The accolade is also the result of Axis Security’s investment in its people strategy with a dedicated learning and development resource, namely the Axis Academy.

Jonathan Levine, Axis Group’s CEO, is extremely proud that the business has once again attained what he considers to be the most prestigious industry award of all. “Axis Security’s success is as a result of its people. Through benefits packages and training, we’ve been able to demonstrate our officers’ value to us and, in turn, they support our vision of customer service excellence. Further, the management, compliance and HR teams all provide an exceptional level of service. They should all be very proud of this award.”

David Mundell, managing director of Axis Security, added: “New high-profile contracts with Southbank Place, UCL and CBRE’s Rathbone Square further cement our place as a leading supplier of security services. This award is a fantastic recognition of our hard work. Most certainly, it will provide additional motivation for us to strive to do even better next year.”
