The CardiAid Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is designed specifically for public access use to provide essential electroshock treatment and first aid in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. During such emergencies, acting within minutes is critical to improve chances of recovery, until emergency medical services can reach the patient. The AED ‘talks’ the user through the actions needed in a step-by-step manner, helping to improve the chances of survival and recovery. The unit is ideal for a wide range of business environments, such as schools, sports centres and shopping centres. It can also be used by emergency response medical services, physicians and occupational health and safety practices. The unit is available in the UK via Evac+Chair.
