Aon, the global professional services firm, is benefiting from the expertise and technical know-how of fire and security systems integrator Evolution to protect its buildings and people across the UK and Europe. Evolution is delivering high-end CCTV and access control solutions and providing maintenance support across a range of Aon’s sites, not only here in the UK but also in the Netherlands and Austria, as well as helping to co-ordinate partners in Australia to deliver a much wider regional service.
The company is also helping to trial new technologies and integrations before they’re installed and still in the development stage by testing the reliability of the systems and proof of concept before going ‘live’ on the Aon network.
Adrian Fadzilah, security systems manager for the EMEA at Aon, had previously worked with Evolution at Accenture and was confident of the team’s ability to perform. Fadzilah stated: “Evolution has worked on many of my projects over the last 48 months, taking my designs and adding value to them by making recommendations as to where to make improvements and ensure that I’ve maximised my security. The technical team within Evolution is excellent and has assisted me on a number of occasions. This has either been from remote sessions or attending site. The team members have a vast amount of technical expertise on many systems and will always find a solution to the problems that may be encountered. They also keep me updated on new technologies and how they might help in the future.”
In terms of delivery, Evolution has worked to all of the ‘go live’ dates and, where necessary, changed its plans to fit with Fadzilah’s own due to last-minute changes to the projects.
Fadzilah has also been impressed with the level of ongoing service and maintenance support. “Many of my projects have been abroad and Evolution has always provided the best support for faults and maintenance using either Evolution engineers or those of approved local partners. Within the UK, Evolution always attend site within the specified timeframe of the contract and its engineers are always working hard to rectify faults at the time or endeavour to resolve them ASAP.”
