Perimeter Certification scheme ![]() "We are launching this certification programme at the Counter Terror Expo in London because there isn't really a quality assurance mark that both manufacturers and end-users recognise when it comes to perimeter protection," says Rob Oliver, Association Secretary of the PSSA. "It is important that security buyers know that the companies they are dealing with to supply and install their security measures, and the systems themselves, are of the highest standard. PAS 68 is recognised by the industry but not universally by end-users so we felt it was necessary to introduce a body to deliver a standard that will deal with this gap." Manufacturers and importers of high performance products should contact the PSSA to ensure that they are in at the start of this important programme. The PSSA is also keen to reach out to specifiers, consultants and installers for their input to help develop this scheme. More details will be available from the PSSA stand at the Counter Terror Expo, 14-15th April, Olympia, London. |
